Al finalizar su contrato con el París Saint-Germain, Luis Campos no ha descartado negociar con otros clubes. Según el periodista Sacha Tavolieri, el consultor deportivo parisino está en conversaciones avanzadas con el Manchester United. Aunque los Diablos Rojos atraviesan una crisis sin fin, la perspectiva de enfrentarse a un gigante europeo, especialmente en colaboración con su compatriota portugués Rúben Amorim, podría resultar atractiva para Campos. El PSG tiene por tanto todo el interés en llegar a un acuerdo con la dupla del técnico Luis Enrique.
